Founded in 1670, the House of Jacques Herbin specialized in sealing wax and fine stationery.  Jacques Herbin's writing pens are recognized worldwide for their high quality.  Herbin glass pens are hand blown glass pens in the tradition of 16th century Venice.  A traditional writing instrument that's quick and easy to use, this 18cm glass nib is handmade. The small channels on the tip hold the ink and allow you to write several lines in a row. Each glass nib is presented in an elegant grey gift box with hot foil gilding, and if the nib gets blunt, there's some abrasive paper (grade 400) inside the box to rub lightly over the tip of the glass nib.
